Mary Lamb, CMP, CWP

Weddings and More by Mary

Mary has had considerable experience as a meeting and special event planner. After raising and coordinating the special events of her own family, Mary began her multi-faceted career in managing and planning events at the corporate level. For twelve years she worked for the Automobile Association of America (AAA) as a corporate meeting planner. It was during this time that she planned and coordinated special events for former Presidential Candidate, Ross Perot. Following her AAA experience, Mary became a service manager at several of the renowned hotels at Disney World, a position she held for eight years. She became responsible for coordinating the visits of Vice President Dick Cheney to Disney World. After her Disney experience, Mary became the residential manager/ catering manager at the Sheraton Imperial Swan in Lakeland, a position that lasted 4 years.

In 2003 Mary decided to make use of her varied and specialized experiences and began her own event planning business: Weddings and More by Mary. While this business began in her home-office, her reputation and talents have allowed her business to expand and grow. With the opening of Garden Ballroom & Banquet Facilities in 2006, Mary is now able to host the intimate and refined events she previously saw as overlooked by local establishments.
